You should at least credit the original artwork or photo reference that you used. That's stealing. I was really impressed by you painting, an still am. But you need to ask the permission of the other artist first, and add the link to give credit in your description. [link]
Hi. I've only used that image for reference. That's not stealing. As you can see, mine is quite different and the concept is also different. I had no intention in causing harm to the other artist but i don't think it's necessary to credit in situations like this. It's my opinion. I appreciate your concern. If the artist ask me to credit him, i'll do so
I suppose stealing is the wrong word.Regardless, in the case, considering you've used a single refernce, withought addapting the basic shape, which was prosibly even traced?-Credit for the reference is due.DA says so plainly right here
